Prima materia is the painting done for the collective thematic exhibition called “Earth” in Groznjan “Fonticus” gallery.  

In the context of this exhibition “Earth” was considered as a symbol, solid cube, pure matter. It's deconstructed  at it’s primal shape that is two dimensional  crosslike net .

Black cross on  canvas is not a Christian projection, but the spiritual category realized by contact of active vertical and passive horizontal in the symbol.

 Prima materia  is an alchemical term that refers to a prime, formless, basic mater in the state of the primordial chaos from which all things originate.

Black earth is basic element for growing life, and when life is over people come back to it under the same shape of the cross.

Apstraktni, enformelistički senzibilitet tretiranih metalnih ploha na tragu je poetike industrijskog dizajna koji grube i nezavršene elemente prostora stavlja u svoju funkciju pa na taj način stvara sofisticirane kontraste i originalnu atmosferu.Slikarsko platno kao nosioc ima prednost jer je transparentno, dakle može se postavljati i premještati po želji, lagano je, a format se izrađuje po želji naručioca. 
 
Abstract, enformelistic sensitivity of treated metal surfaces follows  the poetics of the industrial design that uses rough and unfinished elements of the space and thereby creates a sophisticated contrasts and new vital energy. Painting canvas as the material has an advantage because it is transparent, light and format is created by client request.

Prima Materia project aims to become a reliable partner in artistic decoration of modern homes and offices. Designed on the basis of painting, it affirms and evokes the raw materia that precedes the clear forms and minimalist concept of modern interior design.
The illusion of natural patina of time, oxidized metal surfaces and abstract textures are achieved by combining techniques and materials on metal leaves applied to canvas.
